Practice

Willie G Johnson Jr worked in the field of Chemical engineering for several years before transition to Louisiana State University law school in 2000.  Thereafter, he worked as an attorney and partner in a Baton Rouge law firm where he primarily worked in the areas of insurance defense litigation, commercial\business litigation, complex injury and medical malpractice for more than a decade.  His vision led to the founding of The Johnson Law Group where he is the President and Owner with several other attorneys and staff with over 50 years of combined legal experience.  The mission of The Johnson Law Group under the leadership of Willie G Johnson Jr is to provide excellence and hope through legal service.

RECENT RULINGS AND LITIGATION:

 

M.N. v. Mcdonald et. al., 23rd Judicial District Court. The plaintiff was injured by an 18 Wheeler while riding his motorcycle; the matter resulted in a settlement exceeding $600,000 (2018)

 

Peterson v. Liberty Mutual Insurance Company et. al, 19th Judicial District Court, the plaintiff was involved in a 3 car change reaction collision; this matter resulted in a settlement exceeding $350,000 (2018)

J.H v. Davidson Hotel Company 19th Judicial District Court, The plaintiff was involved in a slip and fall accident in the restaurant area

which resulted in a settlement exceeding $200,000. (2018)

 

St. Cyr. v. City of New Roads, Middle District Federal Court, Case# 07-0539; Police Brutality Litigation; In representing New Road’s Police Officers who effectuated a valid arrest; Jury Trial resulted in Defense Verdict despite $1 Million Demand; (2010)
